We are delighted to have Bobby Jon Drinkard,host of
"On the Job" on APTV, as our Grand Marshal this year.
In November 2003 Bobby Jon
represented the state of Alabama
by being name one of Cosmopolitan
Magazine's 50 Most Eligible
Bachelors across the United States.
While in Los Angeles, Bobby Jon walked the runway and modeled for clients such as Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, and Ralph Lauren.
But his claim to fame came in the CBS hit reality television show
"Survivor". Drinkard appeared as a contestant for season 10's
"Survivor: Palau," and was asked back for the 11th installment of
the show "Survivor Guatemala." Bobby Jon is one of only two
contestants in the show's history to be asked back for a second
season.
Currently you can catch Bobby Jon hosting "On the Job", a new
weekly television show that focuses on often over looked jobs
and educational opportunities through out Alabama.

DOWNTOWN PARKING
The current plan by the DOT is to convert the angle-in parking on Highway 9 to parallel parking. it is not known at this time when the parking spots will be re-configured. This will reduce the number of spaces available for customer parking. Please try to leave these spaces open for customers and consider parking off the stree in one of the city parking lots. If you have security concerns regarding after-hours activity ( reaching your vehicle safely, getting to the bank with deposits, etc.) contact the Lineville Police department at 396-2633 for a courtesy escort.
